My vibe was affected by stress of school and radiated out into other areas of my life without my realizing…granted my ex never communicated how I was making him feel, but the breakup made me realize what had happened and how i can get those stress levels down and vibe up…I am prepared it is too late…he will never be able to share those vibes. But if he doesn’t hes also missing out because I feel good, a little sad it didn’t work out, but good overall.
Get professional help: If the relationship is damaged due to abuse, neglect, addiction or mental health concerns, or if it’s just not getting any better, it’s best to seek the help of a mental health professional. Therapists can help you and your child navigate the choppy waters of building trust, learning new skills and engaging in healthy patterns. It’s not a sign of weakness to seek mental health support, it’s a sign that you realize the importance of your relationship and value it enough to get help.
But chronic attention seekers are annoying to you – why? Because often, their pattern of chronic attention seeking comes from not actually feeling all the attention they do already get. When you don’t allow yourself the feeling – when you reject it – your need for it persists because your body never had the sensation it needed to make you feel full.
So my ex broke up with me a week ago (we had only been dating for two months but apparently it was his longest relationship in awhile) and we’ve been in contact almost every day for the past week just talking as friends so that we don’t lose our snapchat streak (I know that’s a stupid reason to keep in contact with someone). He already drunk texted me saying that he made a mistake but when I confronted him about it the next day he remembered what he said just fine but said he couldn’t get back together because he “needed to work on himself first”. I feel awful starting the “4 week no contact rule” since we’ve been chatting for so long but I really want him back. What do I do?
Try answering these questions: Do you miss your ex, or do you miss having a boyfriend or girlfriend? Did he or she make you feel better about yourself, more secure in the world, and happier? Do you imagine yourself with this person in the long-term, even when the excitement of being in love has worn off and you are stuck in the daily routines of life? If you are only missing the security of having someone and the excitement of a dramatic relationship, you can find those things with someone else in a healthier, more stable relationship.
This is absolutely no excuse for you to be cheated on. Your independence is important and if he wanted the attention he should have spoken to you about this before he cheated instead of cheating and then placing blame on you. This is narcissistic behavior and I encourage you to stay strong. Wow, the anger. No wonder you may be having relationship issues. It has nothing to do with lying or hiding true feelings. It’s about letting a guy have his space. If you come after me saying how horrible I am etc. etc. I will NEVER want to see you again. Nobody likes that kind of women, and no man wants to date his mother. Also pulling away is not “bad behavior.” Would you rather he spend time with you but verbally and physically abuse you? Bad behavior is if the guy is rude and abusive and mean, etc. Pulling away is a man’s way of saying “Look, I like you a lot, but I really need some time and space to sort things out.” If you can’t accept that not everything is rosy and happy all the time, and that if the man you “love” needs to pull away and you just bark and say “you’re behaving badly,” then you have no reason to be in a relationship.
Hi, please i need your help. I Met a man from a dating app, he was very Nice to me, he was in my country, then he travelled back to his country. I thought i lost him after he travelled, so i wanted to stay away, because i thought i Will never see him again, then he told me he Will come back, so i should not stay away from him. So we chat everyday and he always responds to my texts. Then oneday, he Said he likes me. Later he changed, i dont understand him anymore now, he is distant, and i asked him if he has a girlfriend over there now, and he Said yes. Later he Said No, he was joking. I dont know if he is playing with me or not. What do you Think please ?

Sometimes men pull away for the same reasons we do . Ex: they have a huge stress related pimple and because most men don't wear makeup, they can't hide it, and they are embarrassed. Just because men exhibit different behavior than we do ( all that "manly" conditioning) doesn't mean they are so different than we are. Let's stop talking about men and women like we are different species and we need to study each other. Neither men nor women have a collective mind. Let's just treat each other as individuals and take every case into account. I met the nicest, sweetest guy a year ago. Doesn't mean it's all been perfect, but he's an individual just like I am and this b.s. "guys do this" and "women do that" is just not helpful to anyone. I love my short, stocky, loudmouth best friend/ sometimes bf dearly. First, and foremost, hes my best friend, the best friend I have ever had, when he's not being a pain in the ass. But he's still my best friend, and I love him, I hope we will always be friends.
my ex broke up with me and we did the no contact and I sent an accountable letter and he said the breakup was hard and he thinks of me and wanted to hear from me soon. it was so vague and he didn’t ask any questions. he goes on and talks about him moving on career wise and getting back into hobbies. I’m not sure how to reply back it seems acquired now in some ways. it appears he might be ok us going our separate ways. I wasn’t sure what angle to approach if I reply back

If you feel something’s wrong in the relationship or if your partner’s done something objectionable, talk to your partner without accusing them or shouting at them. Help your partner understand how you feel about it instead of yelling or cursing at your lover. And unless an unpardonable mistake is repeated, learn to forgive and forget. Sometimes, even the best of us can make a mistake without really wanting to.
